Nobody should face breast cancer alone. Hear stories from those touched by breast cancer who use our Future Dreams services and access our support. Future Dreams Breast Cancer Charity provides practical and emotional support for those diagnosed with breast cancer, promotes breast health awareness and funds vital secondary breast cancer research.
Future Dreams was founded by Sylvie Henry and Danielle Leslie, a mother and daughter who both had breast cancer. Their legacy lives on in Future Dreams and the thousands of women the charity supports every year.
Nobody should face breast cancer alone.
Future Dreams provides practical and emotional support for those diagnosed with breast cancer, promotes health awareness and funds vital secondary breast cancer research. In October 2021 the charity opened Future Dreams House, the only dedicated breast cancer support centre in the UK.
To support the wellbeing of those touched by breast cancer, we offer an extensive range of workshops, classes and professional services by certified therapists and qualified practitioners. We also provide a relaxed space for quiet reflection or to meet and chat with others from the breast cancer community.
Our workshops and classes assist in managing the emotional, and physical, symptoms and issues
when faced with a breast cancer diagnosis. These include Chemotherapy, radiotherapy and breast surgery, stress, anxiety and loneliness, nutrition and exercise, advice on hair loss, wig fittings and cold caps, headscarf tutorials and masterclasses on brows, skin and nail care, Breast Care Nurse support, life coaching and going back to the workplace, talking with your children, body confidence and Lymphoedema and mobility issues.
Future Dreams shares the goal with Breast Cancer Now that by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live and is proud to have worked with Breast Cancer Now to help fund research into secondary breast cancer and patient health information.
