Ignition illustrates the work of Ignite Youth. Ignite Youth (Ignite) is a charity based in the London Borough of Harrow that exists to support local young people. Ignite works with all young people, but specialises in supporting those who are particularly vulnerable. This includes young people at-risk of criminal and sexual exploitation. Mentoring is a big part of our work and the film portrays how through the support of his mentor 'J' is able to realise his goals and prove the naysayers wrong.
Ignite Youth is a charity based in the London borough of Harrow, that works with young people aged 11-25 to help them re-engage with education, find employment or move away from exploitative relationships including gang involvement.
Our vision is a community where young people can turn adversity into advantage!
We provide mentoring and deliver diversionary projects including sports and music, to engage, empower and transform the lives of some of the boroughs most margnalised and at-risk young people.
