St David's Hospice Care

St David’s Hospice Care cares for patients and their families who are suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses. Their care is provided free throughout Newport, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Torfaen and South & Mid Powys. 

In order to raise the funds required, they run a weekly lottery, have a network of 38 Charity Shops together with a donation depot whilst they also organise and facilitate many fundraising events each year.

• Clinical Nurse Specialists in Palliative Care, attached to designated GP practices
• Hospice at Home service-24hr nursing care at home
• 24 hr On – Call Service
• 15 bed inpatient unit based in Newport
• 4 Day Hospices – Newport, Panteg (Torfaen), Usk House in Brecon and Ystrad Mynach

• Unicorn – Support for Children
