Génération Mercredi
So Far, so good

Film & Campaign Description

#SOS from a youth in distress

Adolescence is neither a state, nor a status, nor a problem, even less an illness.

It is a passage.

We owe it to them to help them through it, as best we can.

However, the treatment of these problems is far from adequate to meet the needs of teenagers in difficulty.

Nearly 1 in 3 young people suffer from mental health troubles.

Early detection of these various disorders is a major health and social issue.

Mental health is not a taboo subject.

Let's talk about it.

Share to raise awareness!

Génération Mercredi

The purpose of the GÉNÉRATION MERCREDI Association is:

  • To support the families of adolescents and young adults with mental health troubles.
  • To raise awareness among the general public and healthcare professionals of the human and social importance of these disorders and related illnesses.
  • To encourage research into the causes and treatment of these disorders, and into support for people affected directly or indirectly.
  • To create specialised mental health facilities dedicated to the care of these, in partnership with the “Maisons des Ados”, created by Professor Marcel Rufo. A place where teenagers can find everything they need to rebuild their lives and look to the future, where everything will be done to make them feel good. These Génération Mercredi centres are a health space for prevention, for welcoming families and for information, but above all a place where they can be consulted.
