Meet Helen and Jessica. In March 2021, their lives changed, almost overnight. This film was created in collaboration with Helen and Jessica to help raise awareness of PANS and PANDAS. Sadly, stories like Helen and Jessica’s are common in the PANS and PANDAS community.
PANS & PANDAS are devastating neuropsychiatric conditions which strike seemingly out of nowhere, causing sudden severe changes in children following infection.PANS PANDAS UK is the only UK charity supporting children and families living with these conditions. We provide information and community support to children and families. We raise awareness of the symptoms and treatment options for healthcare professionals so that they are better equipped to recognise when a child may have PANS or PANDAS. We provide training in educational settings so that families and children living with these conditions receive the support they so desperately need.
