Our film was produced as part of our Impact Report for 2023 and we launched it on World Homeless Day on 10 October 2023. We wanted it to be a companion piece, to sit alongside the impact report to speak to our audiences about who we are, what we do and how we support people who have experienced homelessness to go on to lead happy and fulfilled lives.

We ended up with a film that speaks volumes about us as an organisation. We will use it in staff training, we will send it to current supporters and to future ones we are not yet working with in our mission to make sure that homelessness is rare, brief and non-recurring. We believe in its message because we are committed to building trusted relationships.

Cyrenians

Based in Edinburgh, Cyrenians tackles the causes and consequences of homelessness. We do this through learning from lived experience, by delivering services across Central and South-East Scotland which focus on prevention, early intervention and support into a home; and by influencing changes in legislation and policy.

We understand that there are many routes into homelessness and that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to supporting people towards more positive and stable futures. That’s why all our work is values-led and relationships-based.
