Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity
Build it. Beat it.

Film & Campaign Description

Great Ormond Street Hospital is undertaking the biggest fundraising challenge of a generation – a capital appeal to raise £300 million to build a world-class new Children’s Cancer Centre.

Cancer is the biggest killer of children. The problem is devastatingly clear – so we created a clear, determined campaign proposition to help provide the solution. The DRTV ad lets families talk from the heart about the vital work thats saving children's lives. If you can help build a new home for GOSH’s break-through treatments, you can help beat cancer for more children.

Build it. Beat it. is packed with ambition and confidence. It’s a solution-focused capital appeal, with children at its heart.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity

Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people are seen at Great Ormond Street Hospital from all over the UK.

Every day, young lives hang in the balance as patients, families and staff battle the most complex illnesses. Every day, the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs that change the lives of thousands of children – and change the world.

Despite the greatest challenges a child can face, the hospital is a place where being sick does not always mean being sad. And it’s a place where you’ll find – today and every day – some of the bravest people you could ever meet.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support, and every day is a chance for you to make a difference.
