International Committee of the Red Cross
Be there

Film & Campaign Description

It sometimes feels like war is everywhere you look. Which means you stop seeing it. You feel powerless, unable to do anything significant to help those caught up in painful conflicts.  But you can help. You can be there for people living through conflict with a regular gift to the ICRC. You can help provide life-saving medical aid, for as long as it’s needed. You don’t need to feel helpless. You can be there.
In this film we get to the emotion behind the supplies and support donors are providing. Blankets and food sent to Ukraine, not just for survival, but in solidarity. Medical supplies sent by a parent who can’t imagine what it’s like to feel helpless when your child needs you. This is what it means to be there for people in the world’s worst conflicts, for as long as it takes?

International Committee of the Red Cross

Established in 1863, the ICRC operates worldwide, helping people affected by conflict and armed violence and promoting the laws that protect victims of war. An independent and neutral organization, its mandate stems essentially from the Geneva Conventions of 1949. We are based in Geneva, Switzerland, and employ over 21,000 people in more than 100 countries. The ICRC is funded mainly by voluntary donations from governments and from National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
