FINALIST 2024

Fashion & Textile Children's Trust (Charity)
A helping hand for families since 1853

Film & Campaign Description

To celebrate our 170th year we produced this commercial brand film in partnership with Postcard Productions, who gave their services pro bono for the project. Thank you to all the wonderful actors who also donated their skills to make this film.

Together we wanted to make an emotive brand film which conveys a story of humanity, hope, compassion and warmth. To show that life happens. That crisis can happen to anyone, at any time, but that the Trust is here for the industry parents, if they need us.

To build resonance within the industry, we wanted to represent the Trust as a treasured and shared resource, passed down between industry generations since 1853.

Fashion & Textile Children's Trust (Charity)

We believe that every child deserves the chance to thrive and have been supporting the children of UK fashion and textile employees since 1853.

We’re the only organisation dedicated to supporting the children of people who work in the British fashion and textile industry.

Financial difficulties can hit anyone, at any time. An unexpected change in circumstances can suddenly make it impossible to provide the things that children really need. We provide a lifeline through grants; a one-off payment that doesn’t have to be paid back.

Our support is woven into the very fabric of the industry. From catwalk to curtains, from the boardroom to the shop floor, we’re here for every parent who finds themselves unable to afford essential items like clothes, bedroom furniture or study equipment.

Over the last 170 years we’ve seen fashion — and almost everything else — change, but one thing has remained constant; our commitment to supporting parents when financial pressure turns into financial crisis.

Our grants have provided a lifeline for thousands of parents, changing the lives of children like Theo and Tyler, Marcel and Liliana, and Ned.
