Somerset Film is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through film and digital technology. We prioritise children and young people and those at risk of isolation, whether for financial, geographic or social reasons. In 2019 we responded to ongoing environmental concerns, declaring a Climate Emergency and exploring this thematically through our programme. Our community engagement, talent development and production supports people to have a voice and a platform for expression, to gain digital and communication skills and to use film and technology to advocate and take action.
