Barnet Carers is a leading charity delivering reliable and accessible support for informal carers living in Barnet. Our mission is to enable all carers to thrive by empowering people to live the life they want. We support informal carers aged from 5 to 105. Being a carer often impacts the whole of people’s lives. Carers are frequently worried about their finances, juggling the caring role with work and/or their education and finding appropriate accommodation for their families. Carers may also experience feelings of isolation and loneliness. Barnet Carers strives to enable carers to achieve positive outcomes in life.
Our Barnet Young Carers project has helped support hundreds of young carers over the years through mentoring, tuition, and educational support and activities to enable them to live their lives to the fullest around their caring role. Young Carers are resilient and dedicated. We want to celebrate the vital role they play.
