Staffordshire Women’s Aid provides specialist, trauma-informed support to women, children and young people affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. We deliver a comprehensive range of services designed to support individuals at risk, in crisis, and in recovery, including Refuge accommodation, the Survive Sexual Assault and Abuse Service, Women’s Community Services, Counselling, a 24-hour helpline and the delivery of professional training. Our work focuses on increasing safety, meeting both immediate and long-term practical and emotional needs, and empowering survivors to understand their rights, improve their wellbeing, and build confidence, independence and resilience. Through awareness raising and education, we ensure that those impacted by abuse are heard within their communities while working to prevent domestic and sexual violence across Staffordshire.
