Little Hearts Matter is the only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting and empowering anyone affected by the diagnosis of a single ventricle heart condition – or half a working heart. We support families along every step of their journey, from initial diagnosis, through treatments and into life at home. Our vision is to see children with half a working heart achieve their full potential.
Dedicated services for all ages ensure they can access tailored support, including our support line (open 365 days a year), events and groups to link them with others, and information publications. Cardiac teams use our resources to explain diagnoses and surgeries to parents, as well as referring them to us to receive further support and simple explanations of their complex medical advice.
