Vauxhall City Farm made their triumphant return to the Lambeth Country Show on the 16th & 17th July 2022, after a two year break for both due to the pandemic.
While the farm is thrilled to have made it successfully through the pandemic, our work never stops. We are open year round, providing a free to enter family attraction, as well as a dedicated programme of educational workshops and opportunities for children and young people in Lambeth and the surrounding boroughs.
As an independent charity, we are responsible for raising all our own funds, and rely on the generosity of our supporters to keep us thriving, which is where you come in. Vauxhall City Farm has been here since the 1970s, and we want to continue doing the work we do for decades to come, something we can only achieve with your support!
Vauxhall City Farm is one of the oldest and most central of London’s City Farms, and though in
proximity to wealth, the residents of Lambeth face many challenges, including low income and
poverty of opportunity. VCF uses its animals as vehicles for education and change, providing local
people with experiences that might otherwise preclude them. The farm also provides a vital green
space in a heavily built up area, an escape from city life, and a chance to relax and reconnect with
nature.
