Here's a quick overview of what you can expect during the 2024 Smiley Charity Film Awards campaign.
The awards open for entries on 2nd October 2023. Charities can enter by filling out a simple form on our site and sharing a YouTube or Vimeo link to their film.
Charities are encouraged to appeal to the public and their supporters for votes on their films. The charities with the most votes make it onto the shortlist, so this phase is important.
For our Charity, Community Interest Company (CIC) and Social Enterprise based in the UK categories.
Corporate Cause and International Impact remain open for entries until 31st January 2024
Voting for the charity/CIC/social enterprise categories closes at midnight GMT.
The initial voting round lasts for two months before the shortlist is announced.
For our Corporate Cause and International Charity, Community Interest Company (CIC) and Social Enterprise categories.
The second round of voting opens and lasts until midnight on 12 March. The purpose of the voting rounds is to be in with a chance of winning a ‘People’s Choice’ award in your category.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in ODEON Luxe, Leicester Square. All finalists will be invited to join a night of celebration and recognition for their hard work in the sector.
