Shooting Star Children’s Hospices supports families with a baby, child or young person with a life-limiting condition, or who have been bereaved, across south-west London, north-west London and Surrey. Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months, or years, we’re here to make every moment count. Our care and support is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It includes specialist nursing in the community, symptom management and pain relief, overnight respite stays, end-of-life care, specialist bereavement care and a comprehensive range of therapies, groups and events for the whole family. We support over 600 babies, children and young people who have a life-limiting condition, and their families, as well as over 400 bereaved families. It costs £12 million a year to run Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, so we rely on the generosity of our supporters to keep our services going.
