When Alison was diagnosed with an incurable condition, she didn’t know where to turn to… and then she found Katharine House Hospice. She doesn’t want people to struggle like she did in the beginning and asked us to help her let people know how hospices can help them.

Since 1989, we’ve supported more than 30,000 families in Stafford and the surrounding areas, offering care for a wide range of incurable illnesses.
We support the whole family from day one of diagnosis, through complementary therapies, counselling, tai chi, coffee mornings, respite care, and much more.
For 35 years, our community has helped us continue to provide free specialist palliative care where it’s needed most – at home, in the community, or at our hospice.
Many people think hospices are places you go to die. We are so much more, and we help in so many ways, and that’s why Alison wanted to share her story.
