Despite living in one of the wealthiest boroughs in the country, 1 in 4 children and young people in Kensington and Chelsea live in poverty. Our work at Young K&C ensures that those who dedicate their lives supporting children and young people through youth and play services have access to high quality opportunities. Without the vital work of youth clubs, play clubs and voluntary services many would face exclusions, anti-social behaviour and increased levels of poverty.
Youth and play workers provide life changing support that allows children and young people to reach their full potential - no matter the barriers they may face. Help us to continue supporting youth work.
Young K&C is a dynamic cross-sector partnership, creating a community of member and partner organisations working together to support children and young people in Kensington & Chelsea.
We want all children and young people in Kensington and Chelsea to have access to inspiring, local opportunities to help them pursue their ambitions and be part of their community.
We provide local voluntary and community sector organisations in Kensington and Chelsea with the funding and support they need to provide high quality opportunities for children and young people. We support local charities and non-profit organisations in Kensington and Chelsea with information sharing, advice, networking and small grants.
