About the Film
Visions of Hope: 160 Years of Seescape’s Journey in Fife is a professionally produced heritage documentary that tells the story of one of Fife’s oldest charities. From its beginnings in 1865 to its role today supporting people with visual impairments, the film combines historical archives with authentic voices from clients, volunteers, and staff. Produced by Media Co-op and funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the 16-minute film is fully accessible, featuring audio description, subtitles, and clear sound design to ensure inclusivity.
About the Campaign
The campaign focused on community engagement and accessibility. Screenings were hosted at local venues across Fife, supported by social media chapters and website hosting to reach wider audiences. Every element was designed for inclusivity—high-contrast visuals, clear audio, and SRT subtitle files—so the film could be enjoyed by everyone. This approach celebrated Seescape’s heritage while amplifying its mission to promote equality and inclusion.
