The film was created to mark and celebrate 30 years of Amber supporting young people experiencing homelessness to transform their lives. The film powerfully tells the stories of three people who have used Amber's services over the three decades. Filmed in their homes, they reflect back on their lives and what is was about Amber that helped them move away from homelessness to lead positive and fulfilling lives.
The film was launched at an event for Amber's supporters as a unique way of demonstrating the long term impact that Amber's work can have on the lives of young people. The concept of the film was carried through to Amber's Impact Report for 2025 and shorter edits were created for use on social media.
Amber supports young homeless people, providing them with a temporary home and the space and support that they need to transform their lives for good.
The young people that we work with are the most marginalised in society and are often grappling with incredibly complex issues, but our goal is simple: to help young people move on from Amber into employment or training and a home of their own.
