Comby ran the 2025 London Marathon to raise money for TRAIN, the youth charity that never gave up on him. As a teenager, he got into trouble, ended up in court, and later in prison. But TRAIN was there. They advocated for him, visited him inside, and helped him find work when he got out. 12 years later, Comby decided to run 26.2 miles to give back and help other young people get the second chances he had.
We created this video campaign in partnership with Stone Barrell to help Comby reach his fundraising goal of £2,000, and to share the incredible long-term impact of TRAIN. (He smashed his target, and his time!)
TRAIN supports young people in Didcot and Wallingford. We are working for a society where young people are empowered, supported and heard. We deliver a range of services to realise this aim, supporting young people to make informed decisions, develop their self-confidence, and access opportunities.
