The Cycle, directed by Georgie Yukiko Donovan, uses a continuous shot technique to depict the relentless cycle of the criminal justice system. The film follows a young man navigating various scenarios in and outside of prison, illustrating the challenges and complexities of the system; by creatively showcasing the breaking of this cycle, the film seeks to inspire viewers to take action.
