Sunburn is a powerful 7-minute short film exploring the emotional heatwave that follows a moment of loss, trauma, or sudden change. Told through striking visuals and a minimalist narrative, the film follows a character who becomes overwhelmed by an unseen force that burns from within, symbolising how internal pain can manifest in the physical world.
With a bold, cinematic style and an intense performance-driven approach, Sunburn captures the universal experience of being pushed to the edge and the quiet resilience required to survive it. Trauma is like a sunburn that needs attention in order to heal.
