Our voices are our resistance. Yet millions of people right now are being silenced. Their voices aren’t being listened to and they’re not being heard.
In Gaza, war crimes are going unchecked and thousands of people have been killed. In Sudan, a brutal power struggle has led to civil war displacing millions of people. Across Ethiopia, Kenya and much of East Africa, the worst hunger crisis in living memory is forcing millions towards famine.
None of this is okay. All of it has to change.
The reality is our world system is broken. When it comes to humanitarian crises – world leaders, the media and global institutions are choosing radio silence. That’s their choice. It’s just not ours.
