Rethink Food is an award-winning nonprofit and one of the UK’s Top 100 social enterprises in the NatWest SE100 Index 2025. Its mission is to create a generation of healthy, food-literate, and environmentally conscious young people.
The organisation works with schools, communities, and businesses to improve understanding of the links between food, health, and sustainability, empowering people to make positive, practical changes.
Through innovative programmes that blend food education, environmental awareness, and hands-on learning, Rethink Food equips young people with the skills and confidence to become agents of change.
Central to this work is the National School Pantry Network, which supports schools across the UK to provide dignified access to nutritious food while offering enrichment opportunities and strengthening community connections.
From helping children make healthier choices to reducing food waste and supporting families experiencing food insecurity, Rethink Food is driven by one aim: healthy people, healthy planet.
