Displaced by conflict, the communities we work with in Kachin State live in extremely remote camps, high up in the mountains in northern Myanmar. We support 500 of the youngest displaced children by providing preschool education in safe bright colourful classrooms.
The camps are virtually impossible to access but for the first time in a decade, our partners have been able to send us video footage from the early years education programme. We would love you to take a look and see it for yourself.
For over 35 years, Children on the Edge have worked with local communities in some of the toughest situations, creating environments where children can thrive. We currently support over 15,500 children in Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Uganda and Afghanistan.
