Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance
James' Story

Film & Campaign Description

Shortly before his son, Teddy, was due to turn one, James Cattrall, 31, was involved in a high-speed multi-vehicle road traffic collision. His injuries were critical, and he urgently needed a blood transfusion. James spent the next six weeks in hospital, where he underwent multiple operations and treatments.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers an advanced Critical Care Team to sick and injured people in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight when they need it most.

Available both day and night, 365 days a year, the Air Ambulance Critical Care Team is called out many times a day to attend road traffic collisions, sporting accidents, collapses and many other incidents.

Together with Millstream Productions who created the film, we’re submitting James’ Story for an award. James was involved in a high-speed multi-vehicle road traffic collision. His injuries were critical, and he urgently needed a blood transfusion. James spent the next six weeks in hospital, where he underwent multiple operations and treatments.

It currently costs £15,000 a day to maintain our life saving service, and it is only thanks to the generosity of the communities that we serve that we are able keep our life saving service operational.
