Film & Campaign Description

Our film is about the harm being perpetrated overseas to nature, wildlife and communities in the supply chains of products sold by UK companies. And so much of this is completely hidden. We want the UK government to step up and introduce a new law to hold these companies to account, to prevent this from happening. We need to start putting people and planet over profit. The film features a caricatured CEO using well-known corporate jargon such as 'it's just business' to downplay the impact of corporate activity. It makes the invisible more visible by positioning his office in a rainforest and showing how his words result in destruction of a precious habitat. Our small, in-house creative team made this film, which was shot in the Friends of the Earth London office with effects added in post-production.
