Her Centre is a women’s service offering crisis support for women and girls experiencing abuse in Greenwich. Working closely with social services, police, GP's and local partners we reduce and prevent domestic and sexual violence against women and girls. We have been supporting women and their families escape domestic violence for 27 years, offering a holistic service so that they can move on with their lives. We work with over 1600 women a year through our:

We work with women experiencing domestic or sexual violence, helping them to get safe and improve their lives. It is a complex area of support requiring a holistic view of a family’s situation, addressing the impact on children and often the risks of poverty. We work to make a difference to all women who need us, without prejudice or judgement. Everybody is welcome, and we work through local community groups, our English classes and drop-in sessions to ensure we reach women less likely to know of our core work. We provided support to 905 women experiencing abuse and provided workshops and training to a further 727 women in 2023-24. We work to break the cycle of leaving and returning to the abuser by developing women’s independence and confidence.
