GamCare
GamCare National Gambling Helpline: Britain-wide Campaign 2025

Film & Campaign Description

This film launched our new, Britain-wide advertising campaign for GamCare’s National Gambling Helpline.

The campaign features three powerful scenarios, each showing how people like you and I can feel stuck, trapped or tied in knots by the challenges of their own or someone else’s gambling. Our goal is to reach more of the millions of people affected by gambling harms and be a reminder that compassionate and confidential support is always available through GamCare’s free, 24/7 and year-round National Gambling Helpline. Or through local treatment services in regions up and down the UK.

According to Government statistics, around 1.5 million people in the UK directly engage in some form of gambling - including high risk gambling. With many more affected as loved ones. Latest figures from the Gambling Commission also show that it's a growing problem, as more than a quarter (27%) of 11 to 17-year-olds report spending their own money on gambling activity in the last year. GamCare can help, at any stage of intervention.

Developed in collaboration with our agency partners 23red, Common People Studio and Unfinished Media, the campaign launched in October 2025 to remind people of where they can get gambling support as we entered the start of many autumn sporting fixtures like the Champions League, Formula One, several Tennis tournaments and of course Premier League football.
