From That Moment is the hero film at the heart of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice’s flagship “From That Moment” appeal, a six-week campaign aiming to raise over £1 million to fund vital care for seriously unwell children and their families. Conceived and produced by creative agency, MOREVER, as part of a wider campaign developed by NuCreative, the film was designed to be the emotional and strategic centrepiece of the campaign, including social, digital, OOH and matched-fundraising activity.
The film focuses on the pivotal moment every parent dreads: the diagnosis that changes everything. Through the voices of three families, including one who experienced bereavement, the narrative moves from the rawness of that moment to the hope, joy and strength made possible through Noah’s Ark’s care. The pared-back approach creates space for authenticity, challenging misconceptions about hospice care and revealing a community grounded in warmth, dignity and life.
This film gave these families the courage and opportunity to share their stories. Its impact has been profound: helping audiences understand the emotional reality of these journeys while showcasing the extraordinary role Noah’s Ark plays for children across North Central London.
The appeal was a huge success, meeting its £1 million fundraising goal and more — thanks in part to the power and reach of this film.
Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice helps babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, and their families, make the most of every day. The charity supports those who die young to do so in as much comfort as possible and by providing exceptional care, organising fun activities and days out, helps families do things they never thought possible. Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice helps those they support to enjoy life as children, rather than patients, as families, rather than carers.
Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice is based in Barnet and welcomes the referrals of babies, children and young people who meet their acceptance criteria and who live in the London Boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington, and Hertsmere in Hertfordshire. Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice’s costs are currently over £7m per annum to provide essential services to babies, children and young people who are seriously unwell and their families.
