We sat down with Cissy about her story who had her wish granted to meet Joe McElderry, the singer that had brightened up her life while in hospital for her heart transplant, and went on to be supported by Rays of Sunshine throughout her journey
Rays of Sunshine brightens the lives of seriously and terminally ill children and young people across the UK by granting wishes, and providing ongoing support in hospitals and events within the community
Sunshine in Hospitals - Our team delivers sunshine to children up and down the country currently receiving treatment in hospitals. From activity days to sensory bags, we aim to reach children and families when they need it the most.
Wishes - The wishes we grant are as unique as the children themselves and whether a child wants to be a firefighter, meet a real-life mermaid or even the Loch Ness Monster, we work hard to make that wish come true.
Wish Community Events - Wish children and their families become part of our Wish Community, and are invited to join in any of the events which take place throughout the year – across the UK and online.
