The Peace Centre Uganda’s Mission and Vision
At The Peace Centre (TPC), we provide love, care and a home for orphaned children in Bukindaand its surrounding areas, rural south-west Uganda. The vast majority of our children are double orphans who have no immediate family. Many of their parents have died of AIDS, and most of our children are two or more years behind in school because they have not been able to afford school fees. Our goal is simple: to ensure love, care and a home for each of our children, so that they are educated, healthy young people who can be successful in life.
Why The Peace Centre Matters
The Peace Centre’s work highlights the profound impact of holistic care for vulnerable children. Beyond meeting basic needs like food and shelter, it empowers young people with education, skills, and emotional support, enabling them to break free from cycles of poverty and adversity.By supporting initiatives like The Peace Centre Uganda, we can invest in the potential of young people to build stronger, more equitable communities. As these children step into their futures, equipped with knowledge, skills, and compassion, they become not only success stories but also role models for others.
