Inspired by Mick Carney MBE, the boxing legend who motivated and turned around many people's lives through engagement with boxing, Carney’s Community is a Battersea-based charity that supports disadvantaged and excluded young people. We provide unconditional support and get kids off the streets and away from a life of crime and despair. We do this by offering free boxing fitness sessions, alongside mentoring and one-to-one support. Our aim is to reduce offending, improve physical and emotional health, and encourage discipline and self-respect.
