YESfest
All Together Now - For Planet Earth

Film & Campaign Description

In a heartwarming display of unity, young change-makers from across the globe are coming together through music to inspire action for the planet. YESfest (www.yes-fest.com), a UK-based youth eco movement, is set to release a powerful and uplifting music video, ‘Altogether Now for Planet Earth,’ on Valentine’s Day 2025. Featuring young musicians from across England, Indonesia, Macedonia, the USA, and Kenya, the video celebrates love - not just for each other, but for the planet we all call home.

The track is a unique reinterpretation of the 1990s anthem All Together Now by British band The Farm, with kind permission from the band to reimagine the key refrain as "All together now, for planet Earth". The result is a stirring tribute to the power of collective action, with children performing along to the song on their own instruments, recorded in stunning natural landscapes across the world.

“We wanted to create something that would resonate beyond reports and statistics—something that speaks directly to the heart,” says Alex Bell, Co-Founder and Co-Director of YESfest. “This music video is about hope, unity, and the passion young people have for reimagining a better future for every creature's children. Releasing it on Valentine’s Day felt right because it’s a celebration of love—not just romantic love, but our love for Earth and future generations.”

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Troy Edige, known for his work with the National Geographic channel, the video is a collaboration with leading creative talents from Factory Studios, Siren Music, and animation specialists Bull & Wolf. The result is a visually and sonically stunning production that showcases the energy and determination of the next generation of environmental leaders.

YESfest

YESfest (Youth Eco Summit Festival) is a Community Interest Company dedicated to empowering the next generation of environmental leaders. We bridge the gap between young people and the natural world by hosting vibrant, "festival-vibe" summits that turn climate anxiety into positive, community-led action.

What We Do

We focus on children aged 8–10 (Years 4 and 5), providing them with a unique blend of:

  • Immersive Festivals: In-person and hybrid events that combine nature connection with practical, hands-on sustainability workshops.
  • Global Networking: Connecting local classrooms with youth activists and experts worldwide—from the Eden Project to the United Nations.
  • YESquests: A structured framework of eco-challenges that help children build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become "stewards of their part of the planet."

Why It Matters

With the climate emergency and a growing disconnect from nature impacting youth mental health, our goal is to foster hope through agency. We provide the tools for young people to lead their own impact stories, creating a ripple effect of regenerative practice in schools and local communities.
