Naomi House & Jacksplace is a home from home to seriously ill children and young adults. Our hospices operate across 365 days a year, to support families when they need it most. In this meaningful film, families told us what Naomi House & Jacksplace means to them.
Naomi House & Jacksplace hospices care for seriously ill children, young adults, and their families. We are there for them when they need us most, on good days, difficult days and last days.
When a child or young adult is diagnosed with a life limiting condition, Naomi House & Jacksplace becomes their home from home. Our nursing, care, play and family support teams are experts in delivering the crucial emotional, spiritual, developmental, clinical and holistic care that children and young adults with some of the most complex medical needs require. We offer vital respite support, giving families the chance to recharge their batteries and regroup in a calm, fun and welcoming environment. In times of emergency we’re there, giving families the help they need through difficult times. And at the end of a child or young adult's life, we pull out all the stops to give them a peaceful and dignified end, surrounded by loved ones.
Naomi House provides care for seriously ill children from 0-16 years of age from across the central south of England, including the counties of Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire.
Jacksplace provides care for seriously ill young adults from 16-35 years of age from across the same area. Jacksplace is the only hospice for young adults in our region, offering the care and support they need, but also giving them the independence they often crave. We achieve this through 24 hour nursing care alongside activities and social events, both at the hospice and further afield.
Our vision is a future where children, young adults and their families have access to compassionate support and expert palliative care, when and where they need it, on the good days, difficult days and last days.
Our mission is to always provide outstanding care for children, young adults and families. Guided by the families we support, we will develop innovative services to provide personalised care and invest in our staff, our volunteers and our communities, to deliver an inclusive and collaborative service.
