The Pothohar Association UK

The Pothohar Association UK strives to enhance the cultural heritage of migrants predominantly from the Pothohar region of West Punjab who were exiled from their homeland during the Partition of India in 1947. With a membership of over 1500 this proactive association has organised many events ranging from charity dinners; an annual lecture; health awareness days; and family sports events. Recent projects have included a landmark documentary about the community and the planting of 1650 trees to form the Jallianwala Grove in the National Forest.
