Royal Trinity Hospice

  • Royal Trinity Hospice is the oldest hospice in the country, providing specialist palliative and end of life care to around 2,500 patients each year. It is the local hospice for central and south west London supporting people from seven boroughs: Wandsworth and in parts of the boroughs Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Merton, Lambeth and Richmond upon Thames.

  • Care is given to people both at home and at their inpatient unit on Clapham Common. Its expert team of nurses, doctors, counsellors, social workers, benefits advisors and specialist therapists supports people with life limiting illnesses to manage the challenges that they and the people they care about are facing.

  • As a charity, Royal Trinity Hospice needs to raise over £11m in 2022 from fundraising activities and its network of charity shops to supplement the funds it receives from the NHS to continue providing free specialist care.
