Jump Children's Charity

Our Inspiration & Ambition

JUMP is a registered Children's Charity that supports children with terminal and life limiting illnesses across the North West of England and in the Clwyd county of Wales. JUMP was inspired by Jacob Hawthorn, born in June 2000, Jacob was diagnosed with Congenital Muscular Dystrophy. With no cure for his illness, his family were determined to ensure they'd capture their remaining time together. Jacob passed away in February 2004, and the photographs and video that his family captured of their time with Jacob have become an everlasting tribute.

JUMP was established and registered in 2004. Our ambition was and continues to be, to support children with life threatening health conditions, enabling them to make unique memories with their loved ones and have them captured in photo or film. A memory provided by JUMP provides positive support during challenging times and serves to be a lasting memory for all members of the family to cherish.
